Alert the rescue service
Either call the local piste and rescue service number or use the European emergency number 112. You can also use an emergency app. The following information is vitally important to the rescue service:
- Where’s the accident site?
- Who’s calling?
- What happened?
- How many people are affected?
Share information
After an accident, you should inform the people in charge of the ski school, camp or club and the families of those involved.
Provide personal details
In the event of a serious accident, everyone involved, including witnesses, must be available to provide the piste and rescue service or the police with information.
